According to the definition….Truth means the real facts about something; Truth means Reality, which is the state/quality of things as they actually exist……..With that said…… How can we know the real facts about something that we ourselves are not going through when our approach would never be the same way or with the same mindset and would never yield the same result. Our reality of someone else’s situation is not always their perception, It’s ours. Neither can you tell them THE TRUTH, because we are only telling them our perception to their reality. Jesus said in John 14:6 that he is the way, THE TRUTH, and the life.
There is only one truth and it is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the living word that dwells within us. Therefore if he be in us and we be in him then we are walking in truth. No matter others perception.
“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.” Proverbs 13:3 KJV
It is important not be too quick out of our mouths to give our perception but to take a moment to speak to God and ask him for guidance. “Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:3-6 KJV
The word also says “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”
Proverbs 12:18 NIV “Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.” James 1:26 NIV
Pray and let God work. You will know when he is speaking through you as a mouthpiece to establish HIS purpose.
When Rehab opened the door to the men of Israel and hid them and lied to her city officials on their whereabouts, she was walking in truth. Why? Because God was working through her to establish his purpose. Little did she know that God’s purpose was to use her in the lineage of his son Jesus Christ.
THE TRUTH will show us all the way and give us life abundantly.
Let us pray for THE TRUTH to manifest itself throughout the earth.
