Welcome to my blog
As a Christian, I believe that the Bible is the Word of God. The bible says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3 KJV
I consider these scriptures as a foundation of my belief in God, in his Word and in Life through his son Jesus Christ. Without full acceptance of this truth, creates an unstable and wavering belief system that acts as a quicksand of a neverending search for truth that one will never find.
Mission and Ministry
Some may consider having a relationship with God as almost impossible. Well… it’s not. All it takes is an honest heart that seeks after him with ALL their heart. The bible says, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 KJV.
Truth is, we have so many desires of this life and world that are pilled up in our hearts rather than on paper. We dream more than we act on to achieve. We want more than we expressively need, and we lust over what does not belong to us. And our Heart; the place that was intended as a place of purity, our personal tabernacle’s Holy of Holies, the Mercy seat, the place of spiritual communication and an intimate encounter with God, is filled with strange fire that God cannot and will not mix with. That’s why the bible says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings”. Jeremiah 17:10.
As the model and purpose of the Tabernacle existed, so it has carried on within us. Our bodies represents the outer court, our mind the inner, and our heart the Holy of Holies. Despite who we are in the natural as human beings, as we partake in the things of God through our minds, we create a sacred place where he can dwell in our hearts, and when he speaks with us on that Mercy seat, he then pours into our minds which manifests itself through our natural beings. It is this reversed flow that makes us the light of the world and truly identifies us as a child of the King.
So whatever our purpose, whatever our path, “…whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Phillippians 4:8.
My prayer is that you will join me through these devotions as we encounter God together in the illumination of his Word, seeking the reversed flow that truly identifies us with him, that will not only reveal his purpose and will for our lives, but also guide us through life’s amazing journey in his Grace, Favor, and Mercy.
May God Bless you this day and every day.
