Just a little while longer …in due time!

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 KJV

It is important to know when to hold your peace, and when to speak freely. There are so many ways we can communicate, and many of those ways can test our ability to be humble. Many may find it challenging to grasp how to be bold and courageous while still remaining humble. One of the ways to know that you’re on the right track, is recognizing that there is a struggle leading up to that point. A struggle between knowing what should or what has to be done, and the sacrifice you have to make in order for the possibility of that change to come. But, once you have made up in your mind to move forward, despite the weight of the task and the risks involved; direction on how, when, and where, will come from God.

One thing that God is a master of, is direction. Isaiah 46:9-10 AMP says [For I am God, and there is no one else;
I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose,’]. John 10:27-30 AMP says “The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].”

The hand of God is so mighty that Jesus has assured us that because he and the Father are one, there is no fear in moving forward in his direction because we have a two-fold hand of protection, and no one will ever and no one is able to snatch us out of the mighty hand of God. So when we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, his plan and his purpose will be fulfilled through us. Jeremiah 29:11 AMP says “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” God has already done the great, the magnificent, the powerful, he has created the world and set everything in its cycle, he has done it all. So what pleases him and fulfills his purpose is to give us a future and a hope, and through his plans for us, we will be exalted in due time.

In due time, means an appointed time, a dated time, an ordered time. God who has declared the end and the result from the beginning and have declared in past times the things that is yet to come, He is a master of time. And he is saying, don’t give up, just a little while longer. And while you wait, he says to ‘cast your cares upon him, for he cares for you’. You may be experiencing loneliness, opposition, frustrations, but God says to cast those worries and those feelings upon him. Communicate with him. Many of us thinks because he sees all and knows all that we don’t have to tell him anything. But the bible says, in 2 Chronicles 16:9 AMP ” the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His” He is looking for you to talk to him. Sometimes we make prayer so formal, that some of us make excuses that we don’t know how to pray. But the truth is, if we can communicate with others, we can communicate with God. We can confess our worries and speak to him about our fears, within the confines of our minds and our hearts, so that the enemy cannot use our words against us. We can speak those things which we want in life, out of our mouths so that we can allow it the ability to manifest into the natural through the powerful spoken word that goes forth ahead of us to present itself in due time.

Just a little while longer son, just a little while longer daughter, just a little while longer husband, just a little while longer wife, just a little while longer friend, just a little while longer mother, just a little while longer father, just a little while longer preacher, just a little while longer apostle, just a little while longer.

Pray and seek his face, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galations 6:9-10 KJV

Be blessed,

G.M.
