“let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’…” Matthew 5:37 NKJV

This scripture was laid on my spirit this morning and has taught me the value of securing a solid answer with clarity. As solid as rocks may be, it cannot answer yes or no to the water as the water tumbles it along the river. As tall as the palm trees may grow, it cannot answer yes or no to the wind that beats against it, swaying it back and forth. But God has given us the ability to choose and make decisions and have not denied any of us the opportunity to ask for wisdom and understanding to make the application of those decisions as powerful and dependable as wings on an eagle.

God has applied Grace to us in every situation and lots of love. No matter what decisions we’re faced with, he is right there by our side to give us much needed strength as well as tender loving care when we need it.
